Parking Free Parking (Car Park locked overnight)

The Sandy Lane Ferry operates on Sundays and Saturdays and Bank Holidays from 'Whit' to the last Sunday September every year.

The ferry service starts on the second bank holiday in May.

The crossing is a mile to the east of the city centre and takes about five minutes. It links the meadows to the suburb of Boughton at Sandy Lane. The crossing is made by a small boat with a outboard motor. Dogs are allowed on the boat.
