The City of Chester Male Voice Choir
We were formed in 1941 and until 1999 were known as the Cestrian Male Voice Choir.
The Choir has established itself, both nationally and internationally, as a major force in the world of male voice choirs. Our motto is ‘We Sing to Serve’ and over the years we have raised many thousands of pounds for charitable and other good causes.

- "From the records found in the old Ebenezer chapel building in Milton Street, it appears that the first Baptist church in Chester was formed in 1686, meeting in a room in Bridge Street. In 1706, they moved to Trinity Street where they met until 1786, when they moved to a room in Foregate Street. They again moved, this time to Commonhall Street until the year 1806, when they began to worship in their new chapel in Hamilton Place.
