St. Chad's Farndon

Beautiful medieval parish church at the centre of the Cheshire village of Farndon. Located just off the High Street down Church Lane. The church was locked on my last visit.

Famous for its unique Civil War memorial window. Also as a child the famous map maker John Speed climbed the church tower to survey the land.

The Church was restored after being damaged in the English Civil War by William Barnston in 1658.

Check out the history section of the new church website.
