Aldersey Green Golf Club has a golf course that is envied by many but rivalled by few in terms of sheer enjoyment to play.
Many of the fairways are tree-lined and narrow making accuracy from the tee absolutely pivotal to scoring well.
The course is also home to 14 lakes so by warned that any stray shots can, and on many occasions will be punished.

Eaton Golf Club moved from The Duke of Westminster's Eaton Hall to the Cheshire village of Waverton in 1993. This course will delight and challenge golfers of every standard. In gently undulating countryside, it is an impressive 6580 yards, par 72, 18 hole course designed by the celebrated course architect Donald Steel. It is situated beside the Shropshire Union Canal and incorporates not only some original features of the land including a brook and a wealth of fine old oak trees but also many new copses and several ponds. The abundance of wildlife is encouraged by retaining and improving habitats, providing additional pleasure for golfers. The superb greens, built to USGA standards, are a test for even the most accomplished of putters.
Visitors are welcome though handicap certificates are required and Societies may play by prior arrangement. The purpose built clubhouse offers a wide range of drinks, snacks and meals.

Originally laid out as a 9 hole course in 1934 there has been many changes to what is now today's course with its 18 USGA greens providing year round play at the end of the beautifully tree lined fairways.
