Set at the heart of its own 250 acres, Cotton Farm is a peaceful retreat at the end of the day. Here we raise a herd of beef cattle, a beautiful flock of 300 geese plus the usual array of sheep, hens and ducks. Although a traditional farmhouse, we have extensively and sympathetically renovated it and can offer spacious rooms - click here to see some of them.
Historic Chester is only 4 miles away from the farm, where you can explore the intriguing Roman ruins of the city, visit the 900 year old cathedral or walk the walls, stopping off to shop in the unique Chester rows.
There are good country pubs nearby and a great choice of restaurants in Chester.
For businessmen we offer a tranquil haven from the stresses and strains of work and being only 40 minutes from Manchester airport and close to rail links we are ideally situated.
There are lovely walks across our 250 acres of land starting directly from our front door. There are three "Roman Bridges" spanning the Gowy though they are not really Roman - the packhorse bridges were certainly in place around 1624 and the sandstone causeway is over 500 years old. The bridges are said to be haunted by Grace Trigg, a servant maid from the nearby Hockenhull Hall. After zealously preventing Cromwell's soldiers from stealing her master's silver, poor Grace was beheaded and now her ghost can be seen with its head tucked underneath its arm...

| Golborne Manor is an elegant 19th Century country residence, set in 3.5 acres of gardens.
Golborne is a beautiful mid-Victorian manor house dating back to 1871, set in 3 acres of surrounding gardens with glorious views over the Cheshire plains. We are situated 6 miles south of Chester, next to the Duke of Westminster's estate.
Traditionally a country bed and breakfast, Golborne Manor is now also available for exclusive hire for wedding receptions and events. Still a family home, we provide an adaptable and personal service to each wedding or event and can accommodate marquee receptions from 30 to 300 guests within our idyllic country setting.
Golborne Manor is not licensed for civil ceremonies, but we are within a couple of miles of two lovely churches in the villages of Aldford and Bruera. There are also a large number of civil ceremonies venues located in and around the Chester area.

Grove Villa is a Victorian house on the banks of Chester's picturesque River Dee. The house was built in 1836 and retains many of its original features. It has 3 en-suite bedrooms with central heating, TV, Tea and Coffee making facilities. We have off road parking and are strictly non smoking. A choice of breakfast menu is available ranging from continental , full English and Vegetarian. Other special diets can be accommodated by prior arrangement.
The Rooms
Room1 has an antique half tester bed with river view.
Room2 has a modern four poster bed plus a single bed (can be double or with twin) view to the river.
Room3 is our Honeymoon Suite with modern four poster bed and seating area. This is a large room situated at the back of the house

The Hazels Farm Bed & Breakfast is located on the A540 which runs from Chester to the Wirral, close to the Yacht Inn.
Hazels Farm Bed & Breakfast currently have two b&b rooms rooms.
The B&B rooms have an open outlook over the smallholding and fields to the rear of the property.
Both have en-suite's with bath and shower over the bath.
The larger of the rooms (Room 2) has a super king size bed and the other has a king size.
All rooms have flat screen TV’s with a DVD player, and tea & coffee making facilities and there is plenty of wardrobe space.
We can even accommodate your horse if you want to bring him on holiday too, and there is space outside for other pets or at a nearby kennels.
Double rooms are from £70.00 a night including breakfast, with single occupancy rates from £40.00 a night, assuming a minimum of 2 nights.
Prices are negotiable for longer term stays.
All rooms are non smoking and no pets are allowed in the B&B rooms.
At Hazels Farm B&B we try to use as much localy sourced produce as possible, the eggs are from our hens, when in season, the tomatoes, apples, jams and honey are also from the farm, and the sausages are made by a local butcher.
We also have eggs, veg and beef produced a Hazels Farm, for sale from time to time.

Homeleigh is a large Victorian house with nine letting rooms, providing bed and breakfast with a strict 'no smoking' policy. Colin and Judy Smith own and run the business to a high standard.
We are within 1 mile of the North Wales border and 15 minutes pleasant walk from Chester City Centre. We are situated just behind the oldest racecourse in England, 'The Roodee Racecourse. Other sporting facilities are available nearby.
We have a family room with accommodation for four people. We also have five double rooms, four of which have both a double and single bed, thereby providing twin accommodation if required. In addition, we have three dedicated single rooms, one of which has its own balcony with seating overlooking the landscaped gardens.
All bedrooms are en-suite with central heating, colour television and tea and coffee making facilities, making your stay with us as comfortable as possible. We have stair lift access to 1st floor accommodation.
Our gardens have won the coveted 'Chester in Bloom' award for the past five years. A large car park is to be found at the rear of the house. A varied extensive breakfast menu is always available with vegetarians catered for when required. Breakfast is served with our own free range eggs.

This guest house is a semi detached house on Hoole Road, one of the main roads into Chester. The City Centre is a 20 minute walk at most along Hoole Road and over the railway bridge and along Brook Street Shops.
Victoria Lodge is a 5 bed roomed, late Victorian Guest House on the A56, a tree-lined route into the historic City of Chester.
A very reasonably priced, family run B&B, which retains many of its original features combined with all modern facilities.
All beautifully appointed rooms are en-suite with central heating, colour television, beverage tray, alarm clock, hairdryer and ironing facilities. Cots are available on request.
Victoria Lodge is widely renowned for it’s wonderful breakfast, very friendly service and is noted to be very good value for money. Our success is based on recommendation and return business.

The Majority of Chesters Guest Houses are situated on Hoole Road. At the end of Hoole Road as you get into the City Centre,
there are two Pubs. The Beehive is a bikers pub and sometimes has live music on a Saturday.
Across the road there is the Flookersbrook. Which is a bit more up market.
 Watch out for the speed camera on the way into Chester just after you come off the roundabout onto Hoole Road (A56)
