Situated in the delightful village of Saughall in the countryside around Chester, The Greyhound Inn is a traditional English pub with a deliciously irresistible menu, prepared fresh every day on site by our chef using only the finest locally sourced produce.
In summer 2011 we reopened the Greyhound Inn’s doors to a restyled look that sees this iconic coach house restored.
The Greyhound Inn is distant from the centre of Chester, so much so it is classed as being in the Wirral village of Greater Saughall.
Situated high on the hill at the end of the long road through the village the pubs origin dates back to the 14th century.
Supernatural activity has been recorded in the pub. This has been documented in the book below by Jeffrey Pearson.
