The Plumbers Arms is tucked away on the cul-de-sac street of Newgate Street. Before The Mall Shopping Centre was built Newgate Street ran all the way through to Eastgate Street next to the Grosvenor Hotel. When the Shopping Development was completed the street was blocked off and turned into the entrance to the shopping mall. The Plumbers Arms is a small pub with just one room and a small patio at the back.
