Ring Road

The ring road is a duel carriageway built in 1966 around Chester City Centre to increase traffic flow. It has five sections:
St Oswald's Way
Vicars Lane (single carriage in parts)
Pepper Street
Nicholas Street
St Martins Way (elevated)

Cheshire West and Chester Council

While we install a new drain for Chester,
there will be a clockwise one-way route for most of the inner ring road from 16 November 2020 for 12 months See
