The multi-award winning and sell-out MBNA Chester Marathon will return 6th October 2024. We have developed an enviable reputation with runners of all levels.
We are looking forward to the 13th MBNA Chester Marathon. Our spectacular marathon route is both historic and scenic.
Runners leave the racecourse and head into the City centre passing the Town Hall, Cathedral, split level Middle Ages "Rows", Eastgate Clock.
The MBNA Chester Marathon is the UK's favourite marathon (less than 5000 runners), as voted at the 2020, 2019 & 2018 Running Awards.
With a spectacular start and finish very near Chester Racecourse, the route passes all Chester's iconic landmarks,
then heads out into the Cheshire & North Wales countryside, before returning along the banks of the River Dee for an unforgettable finish.
All finishers will receive a technical t shirt, bespoke medal and a goody bag.

Welcome To Shushinkai North West Karate
Shushinkai North West is a professionally run karate school headed by Stephen Bolland. Steve is a 6th Dan black belt in Shito-ryu Karate-do, one of four major styles of traditional Japanese Karate now practiced world wide.
Shushinkai North West Karate Club has clubs in Chester, Ellesmere Port and Birkenhead.
Together with his team of well trained black belt instructors Steve offers quality instruction for students aged 4 years and over. Our classes are structured and progressive whilst allowing each student to learn at their own pace. We also offer a comprehensive lesson timetable for those busy family schedules.
Shushinkai North West Karate Club is affiliated to the FKSM (Federation of Karate-do Shito-kai Murayama) English Karate Federation (the national governing body for English Karate), Shito-Kai, and the World Shito-ryu Karate-do Federation.
Our instructors are registered with the English Karate Federation (CRB checked) and are trained to coach you and your family from 'beginner to Black belt'.
