Welcome to the MBNA Chester Marathon.
Come to Chester on 9th October 2011 and join in what we promise will become the UK's favourite regional marathon.
Experience 2 countries in 1 race. The race starts and finishes at Chester Racecourse, with ample parking and only a few minutes stroll to Chester City Centre.
The race route takes in Chester's 2000 years of history, passing its iconic landmarks, then out into the stunning Cheshire and North Wales villages and countryside, before returning for a spectacular grandstand finish at the racecourse.
We are a race organised by runners for runners. Last year's inaugural marathon was a huge success and ranked in the Runner's World top 10 UK marathons, being described as "a classic in the making".
