Tudor House Cafe has closed

In 1725 Roger Ormes enclosed the row running through the first floor. This fact is recorded in St Michael's Church Rate Book.
Tudor House is located on the East side of Lower Bridge Street. The building is a fine three story half timbered house. It once contained a walk way for the rows on the first level. But this has been filled in. There is a plaque above the front door saying :
"This Tudor House was built about 1503 in ye reign of Henry VII".
It is thought that the building actually dates from 1603. It was restored in 1907. Below are some pictures taken from inside. There is a cafe/restaurant on the bottom floor.
