The Bandstand The Bandstand The bandstand is located a short walk, about ten minutes down St John's Street and Souters Lane away from the City Centre and the Cross. Brass Bands and Jazz Bands hold concerts on a Sunday afternoon in the Summer. Concerts are free and there is park bench seating in front of the Bandstand for about fifty people, there is standing room on the street in front. The bandstand is owned by Cheshire West and Chester Council. Showcase 2022 https://www.facebook.com/chesterbandstand Chester's most beautiful venue. Performances every weekend & Bank Holiday afternoon from May - August Live events are returning to Chester Bandstand this summer The season will run on Saturday and Sunday afternoons until late September and showcase a mix of music, art, poetry, dance and more.
