Situated in a quiet green valley. Furnished mainly with antiques incorporating all the modern requirements of today. There are low beams oak panelled doors and log fires when necessary. Local and home produce are used in traditional menus and the house is licensed. The meals are served in the dinning room overlooking the garden and fields. Kingsmarsh is the area the farm is situated in approximately half a mile from our local village of Farndon. Kingsmarsh gets its name from being a ‘Kings sanctuary’ in medieval times. Ths meant that anybody trying to avoid the law could stay in the area for 1 year and 1 day if they were able to build a shelter for themselves without the use of iron or nails! The village of Farndon is on the Welsh border with the River Dee running through it. Through the village, to cross the Dee there is a sandstone bridge, built in the mid 14th Century, once over the bridge you will find yourself in Holt, North Wales.
