Wesley is in the heart of Chester city centre, right next to the walls and near the famous Eastgate clock. The faith community based here offers a warm welcome to locals, shoppers, visitors and tourists alike. Our spacious coffee bar, together with the quietness of the church, offers a haven of peace in a busy city, with plenty of time to relax.
Our facilities are open 10.00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Saturday and are enjoyed by people of all ages. Parents with young children use the children’s play area and crèche facilities. Older people and those with disabilities find the entrance and spacious downstairs area easily accessible. Many come to visit the Fair Trade Shop.
Many people have found invaluable friendship and support here in times of crisis or difficulty. We offer prayer and support for help and healing every week on Thursdays and are happy to receive prayer requests.
There is always plenty going on here to help people explore their spirituality. We offer a diverse programme of events, activities and groups, spanning everything from worship, meditation, discussion, bible study and work for justice to art exhibitions and concerts.
