The site has been historically known as an old coaching inn located on a main trading route from the busy port area of Chester to the Wirral and beyond. It was also used frequently by local fisherman, and less scrupulous individuals (nothing's changed there!), when the River Dee passed much closer than it does today. The Egerton Arms Pub is now a charming Country pub set in the heart of west Cheshire and on the North Wales border. We are easily found located on the main Hermitage Road between Blacon and Saughall on the outskirts of Chester. A large car park to side and rear ensures ample parking, and the local bus route passes approximately every 30 minutes.
