Rafts on the water from 10am to 12:30pm

This year�s race is one of the biggest yet with:
- 50 space themed rafts racing their way down the Dee.
- Food stalls, drinks bar, inflatables and live entertainment on Chester Meadows.
- An enormous raffle with over �5000 of prizes.
- It�s on for one day only, Sunday July 12th starting at 10am. You don�t want to miss it. It�s going to be out of this world.
- Chester riverside Groves and Meadows on July 12th and buy a raffle ticket.

Chester Market is beginning an exciting new chapter in its history with a move to a new purpose-built market hall at the heart of the Northgate development.
The new market will be a �modern traditional market� with 40 stalls covering 36,000 sq. ft.
Providing a vibrant mix of produce, goods, food and beverage traders, with over 400 seats, a stage and screen; designed to provide a stunning space to enjoy all that the market will offer.
Including retaining the popular foodie nights, events, demonstrations and acoustic music performances.
The new market will be open with no limits on numbers from Tuesday 8th November 2022.
The market will be open six days per week and closed on Mondays. Opening hours will be from 8am to 10pm on Tuesday to Saturday and from 10am to 9pm on Sundays.

Santa arrived at The Forum on his magnificent sleigh on Thursday 13th November, pulled by real reindeers! Riding on the sleigh with Santa was local girl Kasia Nowakowsa (10 yrs).
Who lives in Great Boughton, Chester and is a pupil at St Werburghs and St Columbas School in Hoole.
Kasia won her fantastic prize in a Christmas Drawing competition staged by The Forum in conjunction with Chester's Dee 106.3 Radio Station.
Kasia's sister Nadzicja (4 years) accompanied her on the Santa's Sleigh.
As well as bringing Santa to The Forum, Kasia assisted the Lord Mayor of Chester to switch on Chester's Christmas Lights in a special ceremony.
Some surprise guests were also on hand in The Forum to welcome everyone on the night.
After installing Santa in his Grotto, from which the proceeds will go to local charities (see list below), Kasia, her two sisters and her Mum and Dad were treated to a family tea at The Forum's McDonalds Restaurant.
The Forum is open on Thursday evenings for Late Night Shopping until 8 pm through to Christmas. Happy Christmas Shopping everyone! Remember, its Free from Three to park in Princess Street Car Park (right underneath The Forum).
